Developing our team working skills...
|
Team working is more than just working alongside others. Sometimes we need to organise different tasks and be responsible for our own jobs. At times we need to enable others so that the team can achieve its goals. We certainly need to be good at communicating. Our talented children are good listeners as well as good at doing things. They recognise what others need and enthuse and encourage those around them. |

Our team working skills shine through at playtime when we play with the parachute; the only way to get the parachute up is to all lift it at the same time! We’re really good at making a mushroom, this is where we lift the parachute and then pull it down behind us so we’re all underneath.

In June 2008, Years 5 and 6 visited Lindisfarne for their residential school trip. One glorious (if not a bit windy!) afternoon was spent sculpture making on the beach. (We have reliable information that they are still there!!)
